Effective May 7, 2025  ·  VHM Corp  ·  Flash Narrative

VHM Corp is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients and the individuals whose data it processes. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the measures we take to keep it secure. By using Flash Narrative, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

2.1

Data Collection

Public Data

Flash Narrative aggregates information exclusively from publicly available sources, including news websites, blogs, and social media platforms. We do not access, store, or process private messages, direct communications, or any non-public user data.

Client Data

We collect business names, email addresses, and branding assets such as logos strictly for the purposes of account management, user authentication, and report customization. This data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

2.2

Legal Basis for Processing

VHM Corp processes media and reputational data under the ‘Legitimate Interest’ clause of the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023. Our legitimate interest lies in providing reputation management and media intelligence services to corporate entities. Where required, we obtain explicit consent from data subjects and provide clear mechanisms to withdraw that consent.

2.3

Data Security

We implement bank-grade encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data in transit and at rest. Access to client dashboards and administrative systems is restricted via secure API authentication and role-based access controls. Our security posture is reviewed regularly to ensure compliance with current industry standards.

2.4

Third-Party Sub-processors

To deliver the Flash Narrative service, VHM Corp engages vetted third-party sub-processors, including industry-standard cloud infrastructure providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and AI model providers (e.g., Google Gemini). All sub-processors are contractually bound to handle data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and are assessed for security compliance before engagement.
